There is no shortage of awesome places to try in Boston’s Little Italy located at the North End.
Do you have a sweet tooth? Check out these hot spots.
Mike’s Pastry (www.mikespastry.com)
There are so many options to choose from but since the line is always out the door you will have time to decide.
I have two recommendations:
The Florentine Cannoli (traditional cannoli with chocolate chips)
The Neapolitan
Modern Pastry (www.modernpastry.com)
Remember to bring your cash when you visit Modern Pastry. Enjoy some fresh coffee along with their carrot cake.
Salumeria Italiana (www.salumeriaitaliana.com)
Get a freshly made Italian sub while you are shopping for some essential cooking ingredients in their shop.
Galleria Umberto Rosticceria
Several years ago I stopped by here for a bite to eat. This was the first place I ever had a rice ball (Arancini). I knew when I went back to Boston I had to make time to go back. They are a cash only place and our only open from 10:45am – 2:00pm. When they sell out of something then it is done for the day. So my recommendation is get there early!
These are just a few of the places I got to visit during my weekend is Boston. Check out all the North End has to offer at www.northendboston.com
Enjoy!
