Nestled right on the sandy shores of Simpson Bay, Mary’s Boon offers a true taste of Sint Maarten’s laid-back island charm. This beachfront favorite combines beautiful Caribbean views with a menu featuring fresh seafood, local flavors, and comforting classics.
We started the meal with two classic cocktails—a refreshing Cosmopolitan and a crisp Aperol Spritz. The Cosmopolitan was perfectly balanced with its citrusy sweetness, while the Aperol Spritz was light, bubbly. Both were the perfect way to kick off our island dining experience.
The Clams and Mussels were offered in two different sauces. The clams and mussels in the creamy white sauce was rich in flavor yet surprisingly light, perfectly coating the tender shellfish without overpowering them. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for soaking up with a piece of the garlic bread.
The clams and mussels in the red sauce offered a delicious Italian-inspired twist. The rich tomato sauce was seasoned with garlic and herbs, creating a bold, savory flavor that paired perfectly with the tender shellfish.
From the refreshing cocktails to the fresh seafood, every part of our meal at Mary’s Boon captured the relaxed charm of Sint Maarten. Great food, friendly service, and stunning views made this a dining experience we’d happily return for on our next visit to the island.
