Tucked away along the beautiful shores of Nettle Bay, Mezza Luna is one of those places that feels like a little hidden gem in St. Martin. This beachfront restaurant offers gorgeous views of the water, but it’s especially magical as the sun begins to set and the sky fills with beautiful colors. From the beachside setting to the picture-perfect views, there are plenty of spots to capture a great photo before settling in for dinner.

We kicked off our evening with a classic Old Fashioned and a Pornstar Martini. Despite its cheeky name, the Pornstar Martini was a delightful standout—light, lively, and wonderfully effervescent. Made with vodka, maracuja liqueur, maracuja juice, and lemon juice, it offered a vibrant passion fruit flavor with a refreshing citrus twist. A fun and flavorful way to start the evening!

The soup of the day was a velvety puréed vegetable soup with the comforting, creamy flavor of carrots. Smooth, rich, and full of subtle sweetness, it was a simple yet satisfying start to the meal.
The Escargot was an indulgent appetizer. Roasted in garlic butter with fresh parsley and topped with gorgonzola cheese, it was rich, savory, and full of flavor. The garlic butter was wonderfully aromatic, while the gorgonzola added a bold, tangy finish. If you’re a fan of escargot, this is the kind of appetizer that makes you want to savor every last bite.
The Asparagus Risotto was a comforting dish that really hit the spot! The rice was wonderfully creamy, with a delicate asparagus flavor running throughout, while asparagus spears lined the top for an extra touch of freshness and texture. It was simple yet satisfying.
The Tagliatelle Verratti was a delicious, hearty pasta dish featuring tender strips of veal sautéed with tagliatelle, fresh herbs, and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. These simple ingredients came together to create a comforting, flavorful dish, with the herbs adding a fragrant touch and the Parmesan bringing everything together.
To finish off the meal, we were treated to a passion fruit drink on the house, served as a little digestif. Its bright, tropical flavor was a refreshing way to end the evening, leaving us with one last taste of the Caribbean before calling it a night.
Enjoy!
