Gilroy, California is the “Garlic Capital of the World”.  The city of Gilroy holds an annual Garlic Festival every July . The smell of garlic is in the air as soon as you step foot in Gilroy. It is a wonderful smell! If you want to try garlic, no problem, it is on everything, from garlic french fries to ice-cream. The grilled corn with garlic butter was my favorite.
