I was so excited to be celebrating my grandmother’s 92 birthday. We took her out to a really nice dinner at one of her favorite Italian restaurants – Trattoria Nonna. You can choose to sit on the sandy beach with your toes in the water or on the deck at their Tiki Bar. I chose the Tiki Bar. I honestly felt this was the best seat in the house. The history of Savannah starts in 1733 when settlers landed along the Savannah River. To this day visitors can walk along the river to enjoy shopping and food. I was blown away when I walked in and saw everything they had to offer. The first thing I saw was all their fresh made desserts.
